New Streaming Service Youtube Music Launches A Student Discount Plan
Youtube Music is now available at a discounted rate for students. Officially today, student plans are launched at the following rates: Youtube Music Premium for $4.99 and Youtube Premium for $6.99. In other news, according to Youtube, those who are enrolled in eligible universities and college students that sign up before Jan. 31st of 2019, can lock in a Youtube premium at a special rate of $5.99.
This is highly recognized since Youtube Music Premium is matching the same student deal as Spotify’s standard subscription at $4.99 a month. Despite, Spotify already offering since August a $0.99/monthly for the first three months for new users.
Over the summer Youtube Music app was made public via iOS and Andriod users across 17 markets. These include Germany, Canada, Australia, US, UK, and planning to brand out coming May 2019.
